Our last stop in Japan. A surprisingly interesting city that I was not familiar with before this trip. Ms. Shoko started the day at the Nanzo-in Temple. Nanzo-in Temple It has the largest bronze reclining Buddha in the world. It was misty and occasionally drizzly but not raining hard at all. As Elizabeth noted, the mist added to the mysterious feeling of the Temple.
Next a visit to the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Shrine More Shrine We then moved to modern day Japan with a tour of Fukuoka Tower. Tower
