The Carrolls Know Where They Are Going! Maybe?

 Sea Date, January 30, 2024

HAL announced our revised schedule.  The paper work was in our mailbox today.  I am using Pete's link.

The letter that accompanied this noted more changes may come but these ports are fairly certain. There is no doubt going through the Red Sea is simply impossible.

Jim and I are very disappointed to miss Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Istanbul, Athens, Mykonos, Ephesus, Mumbai, Naples, Malaga and Azores.  I believe it was the only decision HAL could make.  I am not thrilled to be returning to many ports I visited about 14 months ago.

We are thrilled to be going to Maldives, Seychelles and Capetown.  Before I left Florida, aware of the world situation and considering HAL's options, I decided to throw my safari clothes into the suitcase.  I am now working on trying to find a safari.

Off to new adventures!  As world travelers, one needs to accept the fact changes are inevitable.

One day, we may take a cruise that actually goes where we think it is going.  Oh what a silly dream.
