Hilo, Big Island of Hawaii, Hawaii
Sea Date February 7, 2024
Started the day with a lovely sunrise and a rainbow. Jim saw a circle rainbow this morning. Rented a red convertible for the day. Headed to Rainbow Falls and Volcanoes National Park. We had a very local lunch at Hawaiian Street Cafe. Stocked up at Big Island Candy. Drove around downtown Hilo which still has the feel of the late 1800s. We wandered around Queen Lili'uokalani Gardens, the largest Edo-style ornamental garden outside of Japan. Back on the ship we said good-bye to Komang. Yohan stays with us. A fun day. We were both so glad to not be on a bus.
